He has significant experience doing cross-border transactions and investments in China, Canada, Europe and the U.S. and was the managing partner in China of an international law firm from 2009 to 2015.
Ines is a China and U.K. trained business manager with 10 years of experience as a business executive as well as a self-motivated entrepreneur.
Jane is an entrepreneurial business and communications professional with 8+ years of international business experience in the public, non-profit and private sectors across Asia Pacific. She has extensive experience of serving companies doing cross-border business and investments in China, Canada and the U.S.. She held various positions at the Canada China Business Council from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, she worked as the project manager for an international program at the University of British Columbia. Jane currently lives in Toronto.

Mike has been a venture capitalist since 2002, and is the founder of covered call investing site BornToSell.com (2009). Before being a VC, Mike was an investment banker during the late 90s (reading over 10,000 business plans in 4 years) and was a software engineer for 12 years before that; he worked at 3 startups: one was acquired and two went public on NASDAQ.
Didier Thizy is the owner of Stellex Group, a growth consulting firm specializing in new ventures. Over 20 years he has held leadership roles in all major software functions – software development, project management, product management, digital marketing, sales and business development, as well as General Manager of several start-ups within established companies, the last of which was acquired by The Blackstone Group.
A Legal Expert in foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions and government regulatory issues in China with 20 years’ experience, Haiping formerly worked at the London-based “Magic Circle” firm Clifford Chance. Haiping is qualified in mainland China and the State of New York and holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. degree from Peking University and an LL.M. from the University of Georgia.
