Description of Position

We are seeking a results-driven, energetic, and resourceful Digital Marketing intern to create and manage marketing campaigns on multiple digital platforms with the goal of building awareness and increasing membership of the Trustiics platform. The successful candidate is capable of analyzing metrics, identifying trends, and developing data-driven recommendations and strategies based on insights. You are highly technical with a strong interest in digital marketing. You are social media savvy, able to handle multiple tasks, and have a willingness to learn and experiment.


  • Manage and implement SEO tactics, conduct A/B testing, landing page optimization,  database marketing

  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)

  • Use Google Analytics data to make informed decisions related to creating and executing social media, email campaigns and adwords

  • Design, produce and manage content for social media platforms such as infographics, gifs, video

  • Draft, update and publish varied content on the corporate website, and ensure website performs at optimal capacity

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and leverage social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube)

  • Update and maintain the social media calendar

  • Quantify and analyze results of digital marketing activities and make recommendations on ways to improve or increase the success of those efforts

  • Prepare performance reports for social media and the website

Skills & Experience

  • understanding of HTML and CSS, WordPress

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

  • Experience managing social networks and understand their effectiveness in promoting services and products to targeted audiences

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Technical analytical capabilities with strong working knowledge of Google AdWords and Analytics, webmaster tools and other analytics platforms

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Up to date with the latest trends in SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing

  • Proficient with various office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) 

Education and Training

Current enrollment in post-secondary program: Marketing/Advertising/Business or related subjects, and returning to school in September 2021.


  • Experience with HTML, WordPress, Photoshop, Canva and Monday

  • Understanding of UI/UX design

  • Knowledge of the legal sector

  • Knowledge of North America/China business and social environment

  • Proficiency in Mandarin

Note: This role is part of Canada’s Work Placement Program TECHNATION, and as such, the student must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person defined by the immigration and Refugee Protection Act. (Must not be an international student with work permit.)
