About Me

Alexander Etkin was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario (formerly the Law Society of Upper Canada) in 2020. He earned a J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2019. He practices in all areas of condominium law, landlord and tenant law, and corporate commercial law.

Prior to pursuing his legal career, Alexander worked at an American consulting firm’s office in Beijing, China. In addition, Alexander gained public sector commercial experience in positions in both the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service and the Ontario International Trade & Investment Office within the Embassy of Canada in Beijing. He brings a strong knowledge of business in assisting his legal clients and, as a result of his professional experience in China, is comfortable advising Chinese clients. Aside from having a native command of English, Alexander is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both oral and written.
